The Cisco BPX 8600 Series Switches provide a scalable set of solutions to
cost-effectively deliver ATM, Frame Relay, voice, circuit emulation and IP
services in medium sized PoPs or small COs. The Cisco BPX 8600 Series is
comprised of the Cisco BPX 8620 for broadband ATM services, the BPX 8650
Multiservice switch, which supports broadband and MPLS for IP services, and the
BPX 8680 Universal Service Node that offers broadband, narrowband and MPLS
services.
