The Juniper Networks Integrated Security Gateways, or ISG, are security products that influence a fourth generation security ASIC. They work in conjunction with high-speed microprocessors to provide supreme firewall and VPN performance. The ISG 2000 is suitable for securing enterprise, carrier and data center environments. This is especially useful when advanced applications, such as VoIP and streaming media, need consistent, performance. The ISG 2000 provides secure and reliable connectivity, as well as network and application protection for important, high-traffic network pieces.

The ISG 2000 is a fully integrated system with multi-gigabit performance. It has a modular architecture and enriched virtualization abilities. The base system allows up to four I/O modules and three security modules for IDP integration.
