The Juniper Networks NetScreen-5XT provides IPSec, VPN and firewall services for a broadband telecommuter, a branch office, or retail outlet. The NetScreen-5XT uses the same firewall, VPN, and traffic management technology as NetScreen’s high-end products. Juniper Networks offers two versions of the NetScreen-5XT which include the 10-user version that supports up to 10 users and the Elite version, which supports an open quantity of users.

The Juniper Networks NetScreen-5XT is network security solution for enterprise environments. It has one Untrust 10/100 Ethernet port, four Trust 10/100 Ethernet ports, a console port and a modem port. The NetScreen-5XT is able to secure a remote office, retail outlet, or a broadband telecommuter. The NetScreen-5XT supports dial-backup or dual Ethernet ports for Internet connections. This is vital when network uptime is important.
