The Unidata SQ-3000
(available Sept. 1st 2009)
The Unidata SQ-3000 is a non proprietary SIP
based ‘open system” phone that also comes with 3 way video
conferencing. Fully compatible with open PBX vendors, like Asterisk,
this phone leverages off the success of the WPU-7700’s reputation
for excellent voice quality and smooth, seamless transition between
Wireless Access Points (WAPs). The SQ-3000 is designed specifically
for use where it is necessary to transmit large amounts of visual
information rapidly at low or no cost.
Current applications are for,
Medical and Emergency facilities,
where there is a need for a portable device that provides remote
video and voice capabilities to enable inspection and analysis, and
for conferencing of remote specialists to assist in the diagnosis
process, in areas where traditional GSM or cellular is not
permitted.
Military operations and
surveillance, where there is a need for a light portable handset
that enables realtime communication of large amounts of voice and
video.
Education, University and large
scale campus management, where there is a need for portable
realtime voice and video avoiding the cost of cellular by using
in-house WiFi network infrastructure.
Mobile Business conferencing,
where video conferencing can be done on the go at airports, coffee
shops, home, office or anywhere there is WiFi access without the
high cost of cellular.
The Unidata SQ-3000 comes with built in
Google search and Enterprise Auto provisioning and management
capabilities for large scale deployments and supports up to 7
different profiles. Fully compatible with all major SIP based open IPPBX like Asterisk.
Hard of hearing and deaf
communities. For the first time hard of hearing and deaf persons
can enjoy peer to peer video conferencing without being tied to a
computer screen or having to pay expensive monthly charges for
cellular video conferencing. The Unidata SQ-3000 enables 30frames per minute
(SQ-3000 to SQ-3000) for clear, fast and reliable visual
communication.
