The WPU7800
With over 1.2 million units sold the
WPU7800 is a non proprietary SIP based ‘open system” phone that is
fully compatible with open PBX vendors, like Asterisk, and has a
reputation for excellent voice quality and smooth, seamless
transition between Wireless Access Points (WAPs). Designed
specifically for the demanding high end business market in Korea,
this phone comes with built in Google search and Enterprise Auto
provisioning and management capabilities for large scale
deployments. Now being introduced by Allstar Networks to the North
American market, the WPU7800 supports up to 7 different profiles,
so you can configure the phone to work at the office, at home and
Starbucks or any other WiFi hotspot. The WPU7800 is the replacement
for the WPU7700. Improved features are that it now has a headset/mic
jack for privacy and improved call clarity and a handsfree
speakerphone.
